The Shippen was a derelict store barn given a new lease of life by new owners creating a self contained one bedroom annex as detached family accommodation away from the main house within the same grounds. A timber frame extension was added and finished with natural timber boarding that complemented the existing stone walls, ensuring old and new remained in-keeping with the local surrounding countryside.
